MedsOnCue Video Library
The VUCA Health video library provides optimal information on thousands of top-prescribed medications across multiple conditions. Videos can be accessed on any computer, tablet or smartphone or at designated kiosks or other locations inside the pharmacy or healthcare organization. Videos can also be posted to the organization’s website or even embedded in proprietary apps — ensuring the right information reaches the right patient regardless of technology preferences or existing infrastructures.
Available in English and Spanish, videos are developed by a team of Doctors of Pharmacy with nearly 30 years of combined experience educating patients in both acute care and retail settings. They incorporate many of the key patient education talking points endorsed by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Guidelines on Pharmacist-Conducted Patient Education and Counseling.
Videos are developed following a seven-step format, with much of the content culled from FDA information on prescribing as well as patient package inserts, medication guides and consumer medication information.
For “best results” conclusions, VUCA Health also researches current guidelines by disease state, when available, from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. In addition, editors continuously evaluate new information from the FDA, including new indications and black box warnings, and update video content as appropriate.
How do I get started?
MedsOnCue’s web-based integration service enables a one-click access to specific medication videos from any applications on any platforms, including wearables, where a medication is shown such as in patient portal, medication history, prescriptions and reminders.
